Bricks + Books

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Bricks + Books Foundation is a youth-created organization that collaborates with Tanzanian communities to improve basic infrastructure services. Our projects range from building schools and improving basic sanitation to creating microfinance opportunities for women in small villages.

We partner with communities that have an interest and a capacity to work collaboratively with us. We believe in the importance of working side-by-side with each community in order to ensure sustainability and to facilitate new economic opportunities for the villagers.

Bricks + Books Foundation was founded on the premise that youth have the power to affect positive change. We believe that success is not determined by age, but by action.

We welcome your involvement and invite you to share our vision. Bricks + Books has several projects currently underway and is implementing a sister-school program that connects Tanzanian and US students. As you will see through exploring our website, there are a number of ways to get involved in our organization and participate in mobilizing our generation to raise awareness and take action.
